A little while ago I began to revamp my bathroom suite, and was flabbergasted at the huge collection of bath room fixtures that was obtainable on the net. The colors and designs leave one struggling to resolve what to buy. I am not the finest choice maker at the best of times, and all this variety makes it yet harder.

What I had decided on prior to making a purchase, was that I had to stick with one of the major brand names like Toto or American Standard. Their choices of toilets for sale are enormous, the facility to match all the bathroom furniture, and the after sales and spare parts service is always very good. I sought to find a toilet for sale that I would not have a problem locating parts for, or even replacing with a similar matching type in years to come.

I had the misfortune a number of years ago to purchase a low-cost stand alone toilet in a sale. After fitting it in the bathroom it suffered a major parts failure and I was forced to have a lengthy wait to get the replacement item. This is sometimes not an issue, but when you can't use the only toilet in your house it can be a bit of a nuisance.

So, this time I decided to go with one of the foremost manufacturers to minimise the likelihood of this happening again. I had been told that American Standard make some respectable quality toilets, and even if they are not necessarily the top of the range (even though they provide budget to luxury models), they are a long established and trusted business.

At this moment in time I am in the process of fitting the unit I ordered, and will write a further article with particulars of the procedure. I will also be looking at portable toilets for sale to take on a camping or caravanning trip.
